Getting started with online bidding is easy. At AJay’s Auction House, we host our auctions through Proxibid, allowing you to browse items and place bids from anywhere. On this page, you’ll find simple step-by-step instructions to create your account, register for the auction, and begin bidding, along with a helpful video that walks you through the process. Follow the steps below and you’ll be ready to join the excitement of our Tucson auctions in no time.
Step 1:
Click Here to sign up for a free ProxiBid account and start browsing our current and upcoming auctions.
Step 2:
Follow all the prompts. You will be asked for your Name, Address, Contact, Date of Birth, Shipping & Billing Information.
Step 3:
Click here to find the auction(s) you want to bid on. NOTE ! You must register for each individual auction separately.
Step 4:
Click on the “Participate in this event” button located in one of two places: 1) under the preview event or view event buttons on the auction listing page or 2) under the photo on the auction detail page.
NOTE ! A $100 deposit is required to register for each auction. This is a temporary hold to verify your credit card is valid and has available funds. The hold is typically released within 3-5 business days after the auction ends.
Step 5:
Once bidding goes live, you can actively place bids on items, be sure to track your bids. Once the auction fully closes and bidding has ended on all items, winning bidders will receive an invoice via email detailing their purchases and total amount due.
NOTE ! Payments are due immediately and all sales are final.
Step 6:
Schedule pickup. Each auction has specific pickup dates and times listed in the terms. After an auction is complete, you will receive a link to schedule your pickup appointment.
NOTE ! Late pickups may result in storage fees or forfeiture of items.
Things to Know:
Every auction has a start date and an end date. Until an auction officially opens, you can browse items and add them to your watchlist. Once bidding is open and you want to stay competitive, you can place a max bid, which allows the system to automatically bid for you up to your set limit.
Accepted payment methods: wire transfer, cashier’s check, and credit card (fees may apply).
A buyer’s premium is added to the final bid price (percentage varies by auction). No refunds, returns, or chargebacks. Please read the descriptions carefully. Buyers are responsible for pickup and must bring proper tools, equipment, and help for loading large or heavy items.
IMPORTANT: For most auctions, we offer a Preview Day where you can inspect items in person. Preview Days are typically held on the business day prior to the auction’s closing date. Check the auction details for specific dates, times, and location information. All items are sold as is and we highly advise you to attend preview days.
